How To Buy Rs Money
Once you start playing Runescape, you’ll soon realize that you’re basically broke. Any decent gear you can buy is worth a lot more than a little gold in your bank. So naturally you start wondering how you can make more money.
How To Make Money In Runescape As A Beginner
In this guide, I will walk you through a simple way to earn money in Runescape as a beginner using a low level character without an active membership. Although there are many ways to earn gold in Runescape, I think this method is almost the simplest of them all.
The first thing you need is to get your foot in the door. To make money you need money. The fastest way is to start by mining copper and tin ore, melt the copper and tin into bronze bars, and then turn them into a salable item.
I think the best place to start is in the mine near Varrock. You can see its location on the map below. To begin with, you need to mine 140 copper ore plus 140 tin ore and place them on the same map in Varrock’s bank.

After you finish mining the copper and tin ore, you need to melt them down into ingots. For this you will need to travel to Burthrope. You can get to the place by taking the river stone or if you don’t have the lodestone activated yet, you can run there.
When you are in Burthrope, you need to go to the bank there and get exactly 14 tin and 14 copper ore. Next, you go to the smelter and use it to melt the ore into bronze bars. The picture below shows the location of the bank and the smelter. Repeat this until you have converted all of your copper ore and tin ore into bronze bars, at which point you should have 140 bronze bars.
The reason for aiming for 140 bronze bar is to get yourself the necessary blacksmithing skill before you start crafting weapons and armor from bronze. I recommend making at least 140 bronze bars, but you can do more if you want.
After completing the first step, you should be ready to start making bronze weapons. Go to the anvil where you smelt the ore and start the blacksmith there. To do this, click on the anvil to open the crafting window, where you can select the weapon or armor you want.
How To Get Business Funding
Before you start, you should spend some time finding the one item you craft that will give you the most gold for each bronze bar used. In the picture below, the price offered for the product in the Grand Exchange is listed at the red ring location (more on the Grand Exchange later).
For items that require two bronze bars, you should divide this quantity by two, and for items that require three bronze bars, you should divide the quantity by three before comparing. Alternatively, you can simply use the most expensive item, which only requires one bronze bar (usually a sword).
The red ring is the approximate price offered for this item. 501 gold for one bronze sword.
You must now go back and forth between the anvil and the bank until you have used up all the bronze bars in your bank and turned them into a weapon or piece of armor.

Once you have finished processing the items, you should return to Varrock and go to the Grand Exchange shown in the image below. Again, you can go to Varrock with the lodestone or just run there.
The Grand Exchange is the auction house for every item in Runescape and is where you’re going to get rich. In order to enter the Grand Exchange, you need to talk to a Grand Exchange official, but first you need to get your newly crafted weapon or armor from the bank. The banker is conveniently located next to the Grand Exchange clerk.
Since your inventory only holds 28 items, you need to switch to note withdrawal mode. You can do that by clicking on the note with the sword symbol just below it that says “Download Preset”. After this, you can upload all the products you made as notes.
You will then go to the Grand Exchange Clerk and open the Grand Exchange, at which point you should see something that looks like this.

You can sell your items by right-clicking on them and selecting “Offer Bronze xxx”. Now you’ll get another screen like the one below, except instead of steel bars, yours will show the item you decided to sell.
In this window you can choose the price you ask for the product and the amount you want to sell. At this point you should decide to sell all products and then press the -5% button. This will ensure that your price is low enough to sell all of your products immediately. But don’t worry, you’ll still get the full amount that other players are offering.
When you are ready, press “Confirm offer” and the sales offer will be activated. Sometimes there isn’t enough demand for a certain item despite doing the -5% rate, so you may have to wait a while before your item sells.
Once all your items are sold, you need to click on the item box to withdraw gold to your backpack or bank.

Once you get a decent amount of gold from the items you sell, the next step involves buying bronze bars instead of wasting time mining and smelting the ore. To do this, use the Grand Exchange again, but this time you press the small green arrow pointing down. In the window that now opens, you want to type bronze bar in the search bar and then select the bronze bar icon from the list below the search bar.
You should now see the price of one bronze bar. Make sure that the price of one bronze bar is lower than the price of the item you’re crafting, and if so, buy another 140 bars (or any multiple of 28). To change the quantity to 140 and the price to something slightly higher than the listed price.
Again, you might have to wait a bit, but once you’ve managed to buy all the bronze bars, you’ll need to transfer them to your bank directly from the Grand Exchange by pressing the “To Bank” button.
Next, you make bronze from those bronzes again. This time, though, you don’t have to go to Burthrope. You can go to the Varrock bank, pull 28 bronze bars from there and move to the house south of the beach and use the anvils there to make bronze bars. Then return to the bank, deposit the bronze items and get more bronze bars.

Finally, once you’ve used up all your bronze bars, you can then once again travel to the Grand Exchange to sell items and buy more bars.
You will need to repeat steps 3 and 4 until your blacksmithing skill is high enough to start crafting iron items. Keep making bronze items until you have enough blacksmithing skill to make an iron item that only needs one iron bar and gives you the highest price. At that point you should move on to crafting iron items and repeat steps 3 and 4, now using iron bars instead of bronze bars. This will give you more gold per crafting action and most importantly, more experience than crafting bronze items.
Keep doing this until at some point you can craft steel weapons and armor. Again, wait until you can craft the highest value steel item that only needs steel bars, then switch. Continue to mithril and adamantine and so on.
By now you should have figured out how this method works. It’s a grind, but it gives you a load of gold in a reasonable amount of time. And it works without high skill or Runescape membership. You also gain a lot of blacksmithing skills, which are valuable when it comes to crafting the best weapons and armor in the game.

Just remember to check the prices every time and make sure that you always get more gold from the items you sell than the gold you used to buy the raw materials.
